although i did watch a bit of the olympics and hgtv today, i have about 100 projects to do in only 5 days. i'm looking forward to meeting my friend's new baby tomorrow and seeing a movie with aj tomorrow night. but it will have to wait as it's time for a little more olympic viewing.

A month after surprising us with a new single (a bad one at that), Bloc Party have officially announced the release date of their new album. In a move that has one-upped even the mighty Radiohead, the new LP, Intimacy, will be available on August 21st. Last time I checked in with this band, the new album wasn't supposed to be ready until at least 2009.
