The research entitled GRAPHETIES: A Tutorial Software on Graphs, Equations, and Properties of Conic Sections through Macromedia Flash 8dealt with the development of a software with the use of Macromedia Flash 8.The program was created to aid the students in learning conics and in finding information about the topic.The researcher thought of that through the use of a program which will make a presentation that will attract students to learn the topic.Thirty students outside the school were chosen to act as the population for the testing of the program.A pre-test and a post-test were given to the population.To summarize the result, a two sample t-test was used so as to know whether the program can be an effective instructional material for teaching the topic.The results revealed that there is a significant difference on the achievement of the students before and after using the software.Therefore the software is an effective aid for the learning of the students.

In all likelihood, IndyMac will undergo an orderlybankruptcy or be sold, analysts said.Depositors' Now, theonly parts of IndyMac that are still functioning are its reversemortgage business and payment collection operations.IndyMac is a casualty of the lax lending standards that symbolized theexcesses of the subprime market. IndyMac lost 84 millionduring the first quarter, and it expects to post an even bigger lossfor the second quarter.In its regulatory filing on Tuesday, IndyMac blamed Senator Charles E.Schumer, Democrat of New York, for fanning worries about its financialhealth. "In short, IndyMac was a junior version ofCountrywide."Because IndyMac no longer has enough capital to satisfy regulators,the company may no longer acquire big deposits from brokers. "They are becomingincreasingly boxed in, and their options get narrower."IndyMac's dire straits raise questions about its primary regulator,the Office of Thrift Supervision, and the viability of the thriftbusiness model, which depends heavily on mortgages. Now IndyMac is in trouble, too."On the one hand, they are managing through a difficult environment,"said Frederick Cannon, chief equity strategist of Keefe, Bruyette &Woods.
