The infant convalescent: April 2008

It’s because of two things: I don’t have time (work and very extra-curricular activities hahaha) and I feel that walang magandang panuorin na movie. But last Thursday night, I invited my kabarkada aka movie buddy Vitoria to watch a movie. I’ll fetch her sa house, then we’ll go to the nearest cinema house, then after that, we’ll chill sa coffee house and talk about anything under the sun.

I have to conduct a draw for prizes and remind delegates to recycle their badges.I also have to try to end the conference on a positive note.Marie has suggested I use some material from this blog. I will take her suggestion, but it is easier to sit alone at the keyboard than stand in front of 125 professionals who have spent a whole day listening to speakers.Last year they hired a comedienne. I feel more like an athlete anticipating the start of the game.Success isn’t guaranteed, but neither is failure unless I talk myself into it.

The verse is basically expressing that God pulls you out of the depths. For sure I thought I was going to die but then I cried out to God with all might inner being and asked for mercy! For God brings you out of depths not just at sea but maybe in desperation of a loved one. God grants mercy generously but you have to believe and have faith. For the love and mercy of God is the greatest happiness you will receive in your deepest depths.

Original plans provided for a panoramic view of Lake George but when city officials got a sneak preview the other day, the mayor noted with some emotion that the view had been blocked by a structure housing the ventilation and air conditioning system. Today Library Board President Jim Pehler in a progress report to POETS* today shouldered the blame, saying he promoted the additon of a prairie grass green roof over the a/c structure that will cleanse roof runoff but effectively block the view of Lake George.
