One rape claim from an invisible teenage girl in an FLDS [Fundamentalist Mormon Church] town and the authorities take 416 children from their homes. Whether a man decides to marry a woman, another man or two women, what difference does that make to me and you?The authorities had no right to take all the children -some at gunpoint!- from the town where all were schooled and living in peace with their families like all other children in the state, just because of one phone call! Nothing justifies the fact that Texas seeks custody of 416 children and that foster families are waiting!These children already have good mothers who love them and provide for them. But is it really better for a 15 year-old to be married to a man who will make her a queen or being a junkie who binges and has STD at age 12 [This is what's happening in the UK if I believe the front page of a local newspaper]?In the meantime, the children are accommodated in crowded dirty rooms by the state and many have developed chicken pox. I pray that these children will be reunited to their loving homes and that this horrible episode will make people more tolerant of those who live in peace and practise their religion like their conscious dictates and the Constitution guarnatees.
